Night (1656)
By Elie Wiesel
This book is short, but powerful. Wiesel tells of his experience in the camp, where food (and any provisions) were scarce. Like Anne Frank, Elie was a teenager during the Jewish holocaust - but he lived to tell about it. Wiesel's story is so tragic and personal that one asks how he ever survived. Each Holocaust survivor's story is unique. This tale should be read by all, along with Anne Frank's, Corrie Ten Boom's, and Viktor Frankl's.
Wiesel died in 2016. As there are very few concentration camp survivors left, it's important that their stories by told. Let us never again repeat history.
