In this thinly disguised autobiographical novel, family members are trying to cope with their elderly mother's increasing forgetfulness. Reeve has a gentle regard for each character - even the animals in the story She has good insights into human nature and believes the best of each person.
So many of my friends are dealing with their elderly parents' health issues. This is a realistic and helpful story.
